Back by popular demand, Richmond’s West End will transform once more into an art-lover’s paradise September 8 and 9 during the 2nd Annual West End Art Festival at West Broad Village. Presented by Howard Alan Events (HAE), producer of the nation’s finest juried art shows, the West End Art Festival at West Broad Village represents original, hand-crafted artwork selected by an independent panel of expert judges from hundreds of applicants. One hundred, jury-selected artists from all across the nation will line the cobblestone streets south of Old Brick Road, displaying their stunning works of art. This prestigious, outdoor show encompasses fine jewelry, exquisite works of art and hand-crafted apparel and decor. This year, patrons will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of work in progress by the attending artists.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural showcase, residents and visitors alike will again find something for everyone during this free, two-day outdoor artistic affair. Unlike other exclusive art showcases, the West End Art Festival at West Broad Village invites patrons to meet the artists themselves, commission a custom piece and discover the inspirations and processes behind each handmade-in-the-USA masterpiece. HAE’s careful vetting process ensures a wide array of mediums and price ranges will be offered during the event. Visitors and patrons will also see artists demonstrating their techniques. Ample parking is available and pets on leashes are always welcome.
